Lincoln Lecture Series: Historic Mines of Lincoln County

Join Lincoln Historic Site for its monthly Lincoln Lecture Series, held on the first Saturday from May to October at San Juan Bautista Church. On June 1, 2024, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Scott Hays-Strom, district archaeologist for Smokey Bear Ranger District, will discuss historic mining in Lincoln County, mining practices, and the successes and failures of various operations. The lecture is included with general admission ($7/adult), and children 16 and younger are free.
