Join the celebration of Ruidoso’s rich history at the grand opening of the Wingfield Heritage House Museum on October 17, 2024. The free event kicks off with a ribbon-cutting at 12:00 PM, followed by an open house from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. From 4:00 - 6:00 PM, enjoy live music, light hors d'oeuvres, and drinks as you tour the newly renovated museum.

Built in the 1920s by Ike and Lula Wingfield, the Wingfield House was a family home for three generations and later housed various businesses. Now restored to its original design, the building has been transformed into a museum featuring exhibits on Ruidoso's history, from early settlers to the town's development.

Explore rooms dedicated to the Wingfield family, ancient peoples, and the evolution of Ruidoso into the town it is today. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience Ruidoso’s newest cultural treasure!
