Fan favorites such as the Wind Rider zip line tour, gondola rides, and endless hiking return this summer while the resort is introducing guided mountain bike tours and picnic basket lunches sure to excite any outdoor enthusiast.

Here is what travelers can look forward to this summer:

Wind Rider ZipTour & Wind Rider Dark

The Wind Rider ZipTour offers an experience unlike any other with an adrenaline-pumping, three-part zip tour reaching more than 8,900 feet in length. One of the longest, most thrilling zip lines in the world, the tour offers riders a spectacular view of the Mescalero range while zipping them down the mountain at speeds as fast as 65 mph. Riders can fly solo or zip alongside a friend or family member.

The fun doesn’t stop when the sun sets. For those looking to keep the adrenaline pumping after hours, the Wind Rider Dark invites guests to a moonlight tour. Take in the starry sky with a thrilling zip in the evening, followed by a delicious dinner at the Country Style Buffet. The tour is $100 and includes a daylight zip, night zip and a dinner. The Daylight zip tour is $84 for one adult and $77 for a child or senior.

Guided Mountain Bike Tours

Outdoor lovers and adventurers can now explore Ski Apache on guided mountain bike tours and rentals. Bikers of all skill levels are welcome to take advantage of knowledgeable tour guides,1,900 feet of vertical, and more than 10 miles of trails. Advanced riders can push their limits on challenging terrain while leisure trials offer a more relaxed experience for those interested in learning the ropes or sightseeing. Alpine Picnic Basket Lunch — May 26 – September 24

Whether it’s a romantic date or an adventure-filled day with the family, guests are invited to take in the warm summer afternoons and scenery at Ski Apache with an afternoon picnic anywhere on the mountain. Alpine Picnic Basket Lunches are available for purchase at the Eagle Café and Spirit Bar, and include a sandwich, chips, brownie and drink. Alcohol is available for an additional charge. The Alpine Picnic Basket Lunch is $13.00 per person.
