Wibit Water Park. Wet! Wild! and loads of Fun!

 

Made up of giant slides, towers, trampolines, ramps, wiggle bridges, and other play features, the Wibit Water Park at Grindstone Lake is the hottest thing to hit Ruidoso this summer. An inflatable, on-water obstacle course, the water park provides people of all ages hours of high-energy fun as they bounce, slide, climb, jump and splash on the water.

Officially opening on May 25, 2024, the Wibit Water Park at Grindstone Lake is open Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Summer Only). Check the Parks and Recreation Facebook page for any weather-related announcements or changes in hours. The Ruidoso Wibit is suitable for all ages, with passes available at Grindstone Lake. Group tickets, private events, and birthday party packages are available through the Ruidoso Department of Parks and Recreation.

The Wibit Water Park at Grindstone Lake brings a unique, family-friendly recreation attraction to Ruidoso, with the thrills and excitement of a water park and added amenities such as picnicking, fishing, disc golf, and more. The Wibit Water Park is truly a one-of-a-kind experience that offers visitors of all ages the chance to enjoy Grindstone Lake, located in the heart of Ruidoso.

SUMMER RESERVATIONS SYSTEM:

In an effort to preserve our natural resources and manage visitor capacity, the Village of Ruidoso will require a daily parking fee at Grindstone Lake beginning Saturday, May 25, 2024, through Monday, September 2, 2024, and holiday weekend advance parking reservations throughout the summer. The Grindstone Lake Daily Parking Fee is $10 per vehicle. No reservations are required Monday - Thursday.

Wibit ticket sales are available on-site only. No advance online ticket sales.

Rules and regulations

Guests will be required to follow the rules when using the water park. Among them are:

  • They must wear a life vest that the staff will provide. Personal life vests will not be allowed.

  • Guests between 36 and 45 inches tall must be with an adult to be allowed on the Wibit.

  • A guard will be on duty, and guests must follow their instructions.

  • The VRPRD will have signs posted regarding rules that must be followed at all times while visiting the lake.

  • Wibit Water Park at Grindstone Lake is open10:00 AM – 6:00 PM daily* Cost: $20 per person. Cards only. No cash.

    *After August 4, the Wibit will be open only on weekends through Labor Day

  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after pets and removing trash.

  • No open flames are allowed at any time at the lake.

  • Violators may be cited.
