Josh “Pitbull” Torres was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is a family man with a wife and two sons. A crowd favorite, he is one of New Mexico’s most popular fighters. He currently holds the WBC Latino Championship belt and the NM State Welterweight Championship.

Abel Mendoza

Featherweight 

Abel Mendoza was born in Mexico but currently resides in El Paso, Texas. He is undefeated and is on the fast track to becoming the next World Champion. He won the WBC FecarBox Championship in December 2019. 

Antonio Escalante

Super Featherweight

Antonio Escalante was also born in Mexico and currently resides in El Paso, Texas. Although he has had his battles outside the ring, he is a fierce Mexican fighter in the ring. Antonio formerly held the USA Texas State Super Bantam Title and the WBO NABO Super Bantam Title. He is on a journey to become a champion once again. 

Johnny Tapia Jr.

Making his amateur debut

Johnny Tapia Jr., born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is making his amateur boxing debut at Inn of the Mountain Gods. As the son of legendary American professional boxer Johnny Tapia, he plans on continuing his father’s legacy. He is fighting his first fight at 140 lbs. His late father, the great Mi Vida Loca, held five world titles in three different weight classes. He is hailed as New Mexico’s most beloved fighter in boxing history!
