At 7:00 PM, Matthew McDaniel takes the spotlight. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin nearly 18 years ago, Matthew pursued his passion for music, transitioning from playing cover songs at small venues to becoming an acclaimed original songwriter. His journey led him to play at open mic nights and songwriter showcases across Austin, Dallas, and Fort Worth, eventually earning him recognition and paying gigs. In 2010, he released his first album, "Last Look Back."

Matthew's determination led to the formation of Thieves of Sunrise, a band that signed a record deal, released three albums, and toured extensively across the US. Despite the band's decision to stop touring in 2019, Matthew's drive to bring music to the world never waned. Over the past five years, he has toured solo in the USA and Brazil, perfecting his craft and developing a unique one-man band style show. Using suitcase drums, guitar (both acoustic and electric), harmonica, and his evocative voice, Matthew delivers subversive lyrics and an authentic performance that promises to be nothing short of an awakening.
